Have you ever wanted to visit the Northern part of Malawi as far as Likoma Island but have not been able to because of the cost of charter flights? just did not feel like driving or apprehensive about breaking down in the middle of the Lake or even taking 2 days to reach your destination ?


M.V. Mwande is a new 12m T-Craft Hippo 1180 open catamaran powered by 300 horsepower Mercury outboard motors.


She has a range of 120 nautical miles with a light load speed of 20 knots and cruising speed of up to 15 knots. On board she can seat 80 passengers. The top decks seats 50 and the bottom deck 30. Music, toilets, food and beverage services are available for passenger comfort. Drop down sides are deployed should the weather change.


Mv Mwande started operating on the 25th of November. With the Ilala still off the waters due to the engine problems which require more time and attention Travel Malawi Guide will keep up dating you when it will be back.

|Forex| Victoria Forex Bureau announces that its fifth branch will open soon in Mzuzu.
 
 

 

The Bureau plays a pivotal role in providing foreign exchange to the general public travelling from Malawi.
